Website knowledge versus files

The knowledge lane is website pages and files. Product answers are not that lane. Shopify and WooCommerce use the live catalogue. Magento 2, including Adobe Commerce, uses a synced copy that can lag the store.

Website knowledge versus files

Website crawl

The public site as the agency and client already maintain it. Best for hours, services, and FAQs that belong on a URL.

Files

PDFs and documents that are not (or not yet) a page: internal policies, menus, terms. They still need approval. A forgotten price list in a PDF will be treated as truth.

Catalogues

Do not pretend a product CSV is “knowledge”. Connect the store and keep policies in the knowledge lane.
