Client deployment checklist

A client is not live because a widget appeared. It is live when knowledge is approved, the embed is verified on the right domain, routing works, and someone owns the first week of conversations.

Client deployment checklist

Before you embed

Create the client. Attach website and file knowledge. Set appearance and the opening message. Test questions the real customer will ask — including the ones you hope they will not.

  • Client workspace exists and is named correctly
  • Knowledge sources approved, not just uploaded
  • Handover rules written down
  • Contact Request fields match the client’s follow-up

On the domain

Install the supplied embed. Confirm the live origin. Send a test conversation from the public site, not only from preview. Check mobile.

After go-live

Watch the first conversations. Fix the knowledge gaps they expose. Schedule the first insights review before anyone asks “what did we get for the retainer?”

Launch the first client

Use the workspace as the checklist, not a separate spreadsheet.
