1. Overview
This Cookie Policy applies from 12 June 2026 and was last updated on 30 September 2026. It explains how KUGA AI LTD ("Kuga", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, product pages, accounts, dashboards, hosted agents, widgets, scripts, APIs, integrations, client portals and related services.
This Policy should be read together with the Kuga Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies may involve personal data, such as IP addresses, device identifiers, usage data, session identifiers and preference information.
3. Similar technologies
In this Policy, "cookies" also includes local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, scripts, server logs, device identifiers, embedded content, tracking URLs and similar technologies that store information on a device or access information from a device.
Some technologies are essential for security and functionality. Others may be used only where permitted by law or where consent has been obtained.
4. How Kuga uses cookies
Kuga may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts, prevent fraud, detect abuse, route traffic, improve reliability, measure performance, diagnose issues, understand product usage, support customer deployments, provide support, measure marketing and improve user experience.
Customers may also deploy Kuga-powered agents, widgets or scripts on their own websites or client websites. The customer is responsible for providing cookie notices, obtaining consent where required, honouring user choices and ensuring its own website or deployment complies with applicable law.
5. Categories of cookies
The categories below describe the types of cookies and similar technologies Kuga may use. Not every category is used on every page, account, agent, widget, deployment or region.
- Strictly necessary: required to provide the service requested by the user, such as login, security, session management, load balancing and fraud prevention.
- Preferences: used to remember choices such as interface settings, region, language, cookie choices or account preferences.
- Performance and analytics: used to understand usage, diagnose errors, measure reliability and improve the Services.
- Functional and support: used to provide enhanced features, support tools, chat continuity, forms, embedded content or customer service interactions.
- Marketing and measurement: used to measure campaigns, understand referrals, limit repetition, attribute signups or show relevant communications where permitted.
6. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential to provide the website, account, dashboard, agent, widget or service requested by the user. They may be used for authentication, session continuity, security, fraud prevention, consent records, network routing, load balancing, service availability, account protection and compliance.
These cookies generally do not require consent under UK cookie rules where they are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user or to transmit a communication. If you block them, parts of the Services may not work.
7. Analytics and performance cookies
Analytics and performance cookies help Kuga understand how websites and Services are used, which pages or features are useful, whether errors occur, how quickly pages load and how the Services can be improved.
Where analytics cookies or similar technologies require consent, Kuga will seek consent before using them where required by law. Where analytics information is aggregated or anonymised, it may no longer identify an individual.
8. Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies and similar technologies may help Kuga understand campaign performance, measure referrals, attribute signups, manage communications, limit repeated messages and assess the effectiveness of advertising or outreach.
Where marketing cookies or similar technologies require consent, Kuga will seek consent before using them where required by law. You can opt out of marketing emails separately by using the unsubscribe link or contacting Kuga.
9. Third-party cookies and integrations
Kuga may use third-party service providers that set or access cookies or similar technologies to support hosting, security, analytics, payment, communications, support, embedded content, marketing measurement or other service operations. This Policy describes provider categories rather than naming underlying vendors.
Customers may connect third-party integrations or deploy Kuga scripts on third-party websites. Those third parties may set their own cookies or process data under their own terms and privacy notices. Customer is responsible for ensuring that its integrations and deployments are lawful and appropriately disclosed.
10. Your cookie choices
10.1 Kuga controls
Where Kuga provides a cookie banner, preference centre, account setting or consent control, you can use it to manage non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot usually be disabled through Kuga controls because they are required to provide the requested service.
On kuga.ai, analytics cookies are not set until you choose Allow. Decline leaves them off. Cookie settings in the footer change that choice later. The choice is stored in this browser.
10.2 Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block, delete or manage cookies. Browser settings vary, and blocking cookies may affect website functionality, login sessions, security controls, saved preferences, dashboards, widgets or agent features.
10.3 Customer websites
If you interact with a Kuga-powered agent or widget on a customer website, use that customer's cookie controls or contact the customer for information about their cookie choices. Kuga may process data on that customer's behalf.
11. Changes to this Policy
Kuga may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, cookies, product features or business operations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
