Most AI models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) are trained on American internet data.
By default, they sound like a tech worker from San Francisco. They spell "Color" without a U. They use Zs instead of Ss. They say "Reach out!" instead of "Get in touch."
If you are selling to a Solicitor in Manchester or a Plumber in Leeds, this destroys trust immediately. It makes the bot feel fake and "off the shelf."
Kuga solves this in two layers: The Setting and the Persona.
Level 1: The "One Click" Fix (Spelling & Grammar)
You do not need to waste your word count telling the bot how to spell. We built this in.
Inside your Agent settings, you will see a language option. simply select "English (UK)."
Kuga automatically injects a system level instruction that forces the model to use:
British Spelling: Colour, Centre, Manoeuvre.
British Grammar: "I have just done that" (UK) vs "I just did that" (US).
British Formatting: Dates (25/12/2025) and Currency (£).
This is a massive time saver. You can tell your clients: "Our bots are natively British."
Level 2: Custom Tone (The Vibe)
While the setting fixes the spelling, the Communication Tone box fixes the personality.
A lawyer in London sounds very different from a cafe owner in Newcastle. You can paste these specific instructions into Kuga’s Communication Tone field to nail the vibe.
1. The "Manchester Friendly" (Warm & Direct)
Best for: Local trades, Cafes, retail.
"Warm, helpful, and informal but professional. Avoid corporate jargon or 'tech' speak. Use short, clear sentences. Use phrases like 'Pop in for a chat' rather than 'Schedule a consultation'. Do not be overly enthusiastic. Be helpful and genuine."
2. The "City Professional" (Crisp & Formal)
Best for: Law firms, Accountants, Financial Advisors.
"Polite, reserved, and extremely professional. Do not use emojis. Do not use exclamation marks. Address the user formally. Your goal is to be efficient, accurate, and instill confidence. Do not offer opinions, only facts."
3. The "Clinical & Caring" (NHS Style)
Best for: Dentists, Private Clinics, Physios.
"Empathetic, calm, and clear. Do not give medical advice under any circumstances. Use plain English and avoid complex medical jargon where possible. Focus on guiding the user to the correct appointment type efficiently while making them feel heard."
Why this feature wins clients
Most agencies resell generic US platforms. Their bots say "Let's schedule a call on your cell!"
When you show a UK client an agent that spells "Specialise" correctly and understands the difference between a "Mobile" and a "Cell," they feel understood. It shows you offer a premium, localised service, not just a generic wrapper.
